Wen Yang was born in Shangrao, Jiangxi. Currently, she is an Associate Professor with the Department of Automation at East China University of Science and Technology, China. She graduated from Central South University, Changsha, Hunan, with a Bachelor degree in Department of Mineral, 2002, and a Master degree in Department of Automation, 2005. She received the Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2009. She was a Visiting Student with the University of California, Los Angeles, from 2007 to 2008. 

Her research interests include multi-agent systems, distributed filtering and complex networks.
